I Love the Holidays at Jordan Winery!
Move over Napa! Jordan is the number 1 winery in the North Bay! And, the number 20 winery in the world.
I live in the most amazing area in the world (in my opinion …) The wine country is an extraordinary place. Sonoma and Kenwood, Healdsburg and the Alexander Valley, Calistoga and Saint Helena, the Russian River and the wild Sonoma Coast. We have a wonderful temperate climate, majestic scenery and cultural galore.
And yet, among all that perfection, Jordan Vineyard & Winery is unique. It is magical. That and, of course, the wine is unparalleled. And, to be honest, who doesn’t like to sip one of the best cabernets in the world while sitting under a centennial oak tree next to a magnificent chateau?
No one paid me to plug the winery, BUT …
So, full disclosure, John and I have been friends for-EVAH! We used to hide and go seek in the winery. Needless to say, the security team did not like us so much in those days!
So, I just beamed with pride when I saw the rankings. John has done an amazing job at the winery. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm for everything he loves. You can help but notice when you visit the winery or attend an event that everyone really cares. From the grounds to the food to the wine, every single thing is thought out – pristine and perfect. No detail is overlooked.

And, DRUMROLL, Jordan just unveiled a new holiday experience! Now, you can taste their Jordan Cuvée Champagne paired with their Reserve Caviar!! In addition, you will taste the current release Russian River Valley Chardonnay and Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. After that, you’lll taste an older vintage Cabernet Sauvignon in the Library Room, along with Jordan Hot Chocolate and holiday cookies! I think I’ll sign up for this experience myself!
